Uluru - Kata Tjuta National Park
Welcome to Aboriginal Land, the traditional land owners of Uluru - Kata Tjuta National Park, are direct descendants of the beings who created these lands during the Tjukurpa (Creation Time) They call themselves Anangu, and appreciate being addressed by this term.
This sacred and beautiful world heritage area is of significant importance for the traditional people of the area. The many carvings and painting relate the traditions and law and the ancestral beings who formed Uluru and all of its marks and crevices. The obvious highlight is the awe-inspiring Ayers Rock (Uluru)and that must have photo for your album The best way to see it is with a guide who will let you know all about it's history both modern an ancient. Look out for 'Fooluru', the large rock just before you get to Ayers Rock. Many travellers have suffered 'premature phot-a-culation' when passing this wonderful natural prank.

The Red Centre
The use of the term 'around' has been taken pretty loosely here. There is plenty of bitumen and red dirt between stops out here. In fact the space is sometimes overwhelming as mile after mile of vast open space unfolds in all directions. The beauty of the Red Centre is sublime. From massive monoliths to deep desert canyons there is much to be taken in. The list is far too great to mention here with the following marks on the map the obvious highlights for travelers to the area.

Other Features: Bungy Jump, Cape Tribulation, Diving/Snorkelling, Fraser Island, Great Barrier Reef, Great Ocean Rd & The Grampians, Kakadu/Litchfield NP, Kangaroo Island, Rafting , Skydive, Surfing, Tasmania, West Coast, Whitsundays
